Today marked the second round of the football tournament for the Malta School Games, and it was a fantastic day of sportsmanship and competition for students born in 2017. Four enthusiastic teams took part: Fgura B Primary, St Margaret College, Mellieħa Primary School, and Żejtun B Primary School.
All matches were closely contested, with each team showing great determination, teamwork, and skill. The young players gave their best on the pitch, making the event enjoyable for everyone watching.
After a series of exciting games, Mellieħa Primary School emerged as the overall winner of today’s round. Their victory means they will go on to compete in the finals in May 2026.
A special thanks goes to all participating schools and their dedicated teachers, who prepared and supported the students throughout the competition. Their hard work helped make today’s tournament a memorable experience for everyone involved.
